Friday, February 12, 2010 Term 1 week 5 10th of February Today , we have learnt about a scene on The Merchant of Venice . When Mr Chua came in , he gave us a piece of worksheet which contains lines of Shylock and Portia Which says that Shylock wanted a pound of flesh from Antonio and also Portio explaining the bond to Shylock . The lesson was thought by we were given 10 minutes to finish the question . After we have done the question , we pass our worksheet to the row leaders and then Mr Chua discuss with us the question that was on the worksheet . He uses the 'Bottle of Happiness' to choose the students to answer the question . After we have done discussing about the first worksheet . Mr Chua gave us a second worksheet to work on at home as homework . But before we do it as homework , Mr Chua wanted to explain the passage which contains th lines of Shylock and Antonio . After i read passage , i understand why Shylock hated Antonio . Its because Antonio have insulted him before . He called shylock a misbeliever , cut-throat dog and he spit on Shylock's jeweish clothes . i felt that this lesson was good because i understand more about the story on The Merchant of Venice . I like the part where we broken into groups and we have to read out the dialogue aloud . The part that we should improve on is that we must be quite when the teacher is teaching and listen to the teacher's intruction .
